Gloss 'N Sparkle Melodious: Swatches and Review

My first swatch post!  Not that the pics are even of my hands lol.  My friend (Amie) and I work on this blog together, sometimes swatches will be mine and sometimes they will be hers.  Today they're hers!

Gloss 'n Sparkle Melodious is descibed as 'a dark blue leaning purple with a gorgeous pink shimmer and speckles of holographic gold'.

When on the nail this polish appeared to be more of a blackened purple than a blue, but the rest of the description is pretty accurate.  The shimmer in this polish is super pretty and the gold glitter is a really nice touch.  Formula was good, the polish went on smoothly and I had no problems to report - shown here is 3 coats, with Nailtek base coat and Jordana Quick Shine top coat.

Welcome to Serenity!

Hey everyone!

Welcome to my new blog, which is going to be based around my current addictions - mainly nail polish with some makeup thrown in.  I get an embarrassing amount of nail mail so I'll post haul pics as I get them as well as swatches and anything else exciting!  I live in New Zealand so will be posting about products that are available internationally.

Also (and this is the exciting part), a friend and I are currently working on launching a new nail polish line, so please follow for swatch pics and other progress updates!  We're just waiting on some more supplies to arrive to launch the first colours.

Hopefully I can keep this interesting for you guys, I'll post as often as I can.  I'm a mummy to 3 children (all under the age of 5), so I may miss some days.  Thanks for reading this and hopefully you've decided to stick araound :)
